EXCELLENT Based on 35 reviews Jamie Katz24 September 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We spent four nights with Steve in Cazadero and three amazing days cycling through redwood forests, tunnels of California oak, and along hwy 1. It was magical. My friends and I went for the e-bikes and were very happy to have the assist on the hills and were not exhausted after a 30 mile ride. Steve is very knowledgable about the area and its history. We will definitely call on Steve again to guide us on another cycling trip. His little casita is comfy and thoughtfully appointed- beautiful trip. Dave Sharp24 September 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We loved our riding experience with Comova Cycling. For three unforgettable days Steve expertly guided us through the beautiful coastal Sonoma County landscape. Our group of 4 rode a mix of electric and "analog" bikes, and the mileage and hill profile couldn't have been better. The accommodations are well-located, private and super comfortable. Our daily post-ride hot tub soaks were a huge plus. Deborah Kane21 September 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My husband and I had a fantastic experience with Comova Cycling and Steve. We began the four night, three day adventure as very occasional cyclists, and we ended deeply excited about getting into cycling more. We rented e-bikes from Steve and that was a total game changer. It allowed us to go 35+ miles a day, with relatively significant elevation gain, without any issue. I'd never ridden an e-bike before and, after the great experience with Steve, I'm going to buy one of my own. Riding an e-bike was still great exercise, but it made the climbing so much more manageable! The entire experience - from the great e-bikes to the lovely accommodations to Steve's helpful and cheerful demeanor - it was all fantastic. Highly recommend without any hesitation. Theresa Bierek24 August 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Comova is the place to go for those seeking adventure in the cycling community. I had such an incredible time and feel so grateful to have had Steve as a guide. I was shown the most incredible routes with the most epic views and terrain. I ride gravel and was able to experience a mixed terrain through redwood forests, as well as some of the best road riding of my life along the coast and up and around so many incredible climbs - it was a non-stop high for me! The place I rented - Comovas Cazita - was fully hooked up with everything I needed for comfort. There was a full kitchen, a spa-like shower, gorgeous views of forests and tree-tops around, I even saw deer out the window. I also particularly loved the excellent bike enthusiast reading material and photos that were placed throughout the place, making it an endlessly entertaining and informative stay. The outdoor area on the property is equipped with a jacuzzi and hammock which was such a sweet experience after a long day of riding, and the bike barn was great for storing my bike and getting in ready in the morning for the send. Steve is super helpful, kind, and is just an all around rad human who is so much fun to ride with! 10/10 would recommend this experience. Nay, you NEED THIS experience! I know I did and can't wait to go back soon. Lucia Tonin8 June 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Best experience ever. Since the first day. The cabin Cazita is wonderful and sleeping there is very relaxing. Steve and Claire are amazing hosts and also great in organizing an setting up rides and support. Every ride is gorgeous and it has a lot of beautiful views and spectacular places to see. You cannot go wrong in booking some adventures with them! 5/5 stars and the next tour is already on the schedule! Jim Young5 February 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Steve and Comova made possible an unforgettable, breathtaking father - daughter ride in West Sonoma County. We were self guided (our ride included some relatively remote areas with poor cell service) but had the reassuring knowledge that Comova wasn’t far … We used the garage to tune up before the ride and used the water to give our bikes a rinse afterward. A spectacular day. We will return and look forward to using Comova for a guided ride and also look forward to staying on site. The accommodations are fantastic. Highly recommended for road and gravel cyclists looking for some great riding in a truly special area. Peter Brisbo12 December 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This past October, a group of us gravel enthusiast took a tour with Comova Cycles that consisted of riding through the beautiful Sonoma Coast line, then inland through the forest of redwoods, coastal oak & bay trees via some really cool fire roads and single track. Matt was our leader, and his attention to detail and knowledge of navigating was impeccable. If you're planning a visit to the SF Bay Area and want to cycle some beautiful gravel trails and roads, I can highly recommend contacting Steve at Comova Cycling. Cheers! Michael Koved5 December 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Comova Cycling has memorable routes with top notch support. Matt was our guide on a gravel adventure that was super beautiful. We headed along the Sonoma Coast and then went inland on single track and fire roads through mixed forests and open space. The attention to detail for the route planning and on-ride support was spot on. I highly recommend Comova. Jonathan5 December 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Comova is a fantastic way to explore and experience NorCal cycling. Matt was our guide for a 50 mile tour of Sonoma, and we covered a variety of gravel and paved terrain, with a big refuel stop in the middle. The home base setup is also idyllic, in the redwoods, with a casita for staying, a fleet of rental bikes if you didn't bring your own, and an outdoor shower for clean up before dinner at a local brewery. A great experience! Matthew McHugh4 December 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I joined Comova Cycling's King Ridge and Eel River cycling adventure based in the heart of the huge redwoods of Humboldt County in March. Guide Steve Z was super organized and so enthusiastic in sharing his love of riding in special places where so few folks venture. It was a fantastic trip on every level. I rented one of his fleet of VAAST '1x 38-42' gravel bikes and it was set up perfectly for the riding we did. It's really worth considering not having to travel with your own bike. The routes Steve created were gorgeous and very remote with varied scenery and great gravel at elevations that offered sweeping views and long fun descents. The accommodations were also perfect in terms of comfort and location. I highly recommend using Comova Cycling for your Northern California mixed terrain cycling adventure.
